What's New
October 2026
- Schools are now either Open Access or Invite Only. You can join an open school straight away; an invite-only school asks for its invite code, and only members who've entered it see its events and notices.
- Every invite-only school has an invite code, and school administrators can generate a new one themselves.
- Choosing year levels for an event is simpler.
- Reminders and notifications are more reliable, and signing out works properly.
- Editing an event no longer changes its time by mistake, and deleted events no longer appear in the feed.
- New Refresh profile option in the menu, if your schools or permissions look out of date.
- We've simplified JuggleBoard to focus on the essentials. Feed filters and Useful Links have been removed for now, and all events for your schools are shown in your feed.
May 2026
- Early learning centres can rename their groups (for example "Nursery"), and the new names show on events.
February 2026
- School access levels have clearer names: Open Access and Invite Only.
- Long event descriptions are tidier, with Read More to see the rest.
- When you first sign in, JuggleBoard asks for your region, so New Zealand public holidays (including your anniversary day) show in your feed.
January 2026
- Reminders now arrive as push notifications from JuggleBoard, so they work even when the app hasn't been opened for a while.
- See every reminder you've set under Pending Notifications. Removing a school cancels its reminders.
- Events can be cancelled or rescheduled, with an optional message, and you see the change on the event.
- Parents can post notices at schools that allow it.
- Add to Calendar copies an event into your phone's calendar.
- Events can include links, such as a permission slip or a map, and event cards have a fresh look.
- Mark events as favourites to keep them at the top of your feed.
- School staff have an admin portal on the web for events, notices and staff.
- Help moved to juggleboard.com/learn.
